Who I Am

My name is Chris Pirillo. I publish under the developer name LockerGnome on the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store. I build free apps, games, and creative tools published at arcade.pirillo.com and distributed through Google Play, the Apple App Store, and the web. This policy covers all of them.

Data I Collect

I don’t personally collect, store, or manage any user data. There are no accounts, no sign-ins, no databases of user information, and no server-side data storage under my control. I never ask for your name, email, or any personal details.

How My Apps Work

My apps run client-side — meaning they execute primarily in your web browser or on your Android or iOS device. I do not operate servers that store user data.

• No accounts or sign-in — you never create an account or provide personal information to me
• No user data storage — I don’t maintain databases, profiles, or records tied to individual users
• Analytics may be present — some web apps use third-party analytics services (such as Google Analytics) to understand general usage patterns like page views and feature popularity. These services may use cookies or similar technologies governed by their own privacy policies. My Android and iOS apps do not include analytics.
• Ads — none of my apps currently display ads. If this changes in the future, this policy will be updated accordingly.

Local Storage

Some apps may use your browser’s localStorage or sessionStorage to save preferences, game progress, or history between sessions. This data is stored locally on your device, never transmitted to me or any third party, and can be cleared at any time through your browser settings.

Device Permissions

Certain apps may request device permissions depending on their function:

• Camera / Microphone — only when the app’s core feature requires it (e.g., webcam effects, voice input). Processed on-device, never recorded or transmitted.
• Vibration — used for haptic feedback in games and tools.
• Clipboard — some tools read from or write to your clipboard when you explicitly use copy/paste features.

No permission is requested silently or used for any purpose beyond the feature you’re actively using.

Third-Party Services

My apps may integrate the following types of third-party services:

• Analytics (web apps only) — services like Google Analytics that collect anonymous, aggregated usage data (page views, session duration, device type). I use this to understand which apps are popular and how to improve them. These services are governed by their own privacy policies. My Android and iOS apps do not include analytics SDKs.
• In-App Purchases — some apps offer optional in-app purchases processed by Google Play Billing or Apple In-App Purchase (StoreKit). I do not receive or store your payment information. All billing is handled by Google or Apple under their respective privacy policies.
• Fonts and libraries — apps load resources like Google Fonts and open-source JavaScript libraries from CDNs. These are standard web resources.

None of these services give me access to your personal data. I do not receive or store names, emails, or any personally identifiable information through these integrations. Any third-party service used in my apps is required to provide the same or equivalent level of data protection described in this policy.

External Links

My apps may contain links to external websites (such as social profiles, donation pages, or other resources). I am not responsible for the privacy practices of those external sites.

Children’s Privacy

My apps are not specifically directed at children under 13. Since I do not collect personal data from anyone, COPPA and similar children’s privacy regulations are inherently satisfied. My mobile apps contain no third-party analytics, no advertising SDKs, and no tracking of any kind. My apps are generally suitable for all ages in terms of content.

Mobile Apps

The following apps are published by LockerGnome (Chris Pirillo) on the Google Play Store and/or the Apple App Store. This privacy policy applies to each of them.

App Store Platforms

For apps distributed through Google Play or the Apple App Store, the platform itself may collect usage data governed by Google’s Privacy Policy or Apple’s Privacy Policy respectively. This is outside my control. My apps themselves do not contribute any additional data collection beyond what the platform handles at the operating system level.

Data Retention & Deletion

Since I do not collect or store any personal data, there is nothing to retain or delete. Any data generated by my apps (such as saved preferences, font files, or scan history) exists only on your device. You can delete this data at any time by clearing the app’s storage through your device settings or by uninstalling the app.

Your Rights

Because I collect no personal data, there is no data to access, correct, export, or delete on my end. If you wish to revoke any permissions granted to an app, you can do so at any time through your device’s system settings. To remove all locally stored data, clear the app’s data or uninstall it. If you have questions or concerns about your data in relation to any third-party service referenced above (such as Google or Apple), please contact that service directly using the links provided in this policy.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new date. Since my apps collect no data, meaningful changes are unlikely.
