Entirely in this browser, under a single local-storage key. There is no account and no server ever receives an entry — not your moods, your flowers, or a word you write. The site itself uses Google Analytics for anonymous page counts, which never includes journal content. Clearing site data erases everything, so export a JSON backup from the Journal panel if it matters to you.

96 species across four moods — Joy, Blue, Curious and Calm. Every one is hand-drawn, searchable by name, family or colour, and can be favourited from the Flowers panel.

Yes. Each day holds 1 to 8 flowers, set with the Blooms in this plot control while you write. Zoom into a month and the plot shows every one of them.

A draft keeps your writing without adding anything to the garden — useful for a day you are still thinking about. Planting the day grows its flower on the calendar. Drafts are counted separately in the Journal panel.

Two ways, both in the Journal panel: a JSON backup that re-imports into Mood Journal with everything intact, and a CSV of every entry and draft for a spreadsheet.

It fills a year with example entries so you can see a full garden before writing anything. It is read-only and completely separate from your own journal — nothing in it mixes into your entries.

With the garden focused: arrow keys move a day, up and down move a week, Page Up and Page Down move a month, Home jumps to today, Enter opens the writing panel, and plus and minus zoom.
