Roll a world, then run it. Every seed builds a full region with terrain, rivers, roads, settlements, ruins and a written gazetteer you can edit at the table. Click any hex to open its record, reveal territory as the party travels, and hand out a clean player map when they ask for one.

Yes. A seed is the whole recipe. Type a seed a friend sends you and you get their exact map, down to the last shrine. Change any dial and you are on a different world, so lock what you want to keep before you reroll.
Switch to Player at the top of the map. Hidden sites, private notes and unrevealed hexes drop out of the view and out of the VTT export. Present goes one step further and clears the referee's tools off the screen entirely.
Export the VTT image. It is a plain PNG at up to three times scale with nothing on it the table should not see, so it drops straight onto a virtual tabletop as a background.
Nothing leaves your browser and there is no account. Export the world file to keep a campaign, and open it again here whenever you need it. The seed alone rebuilds the terrain, but the world file also carries your edits, pins and revealed hexes.

Grand runs 64 columns, which is a season or two of overland travel at most tables. Brief is 26 columns and better for a single region you want to detail heavily.
Yes, and gladly. Hexcrawl Generator grew out of an open-source app, Hexcrawl — The Cartographer's Table, built by Claude Fable 5 for elder-plinius's FABLE Showcase. That original turns a seed into a hex world with a gazetteer; this version extends it with a full campaign gazetteer, GM and player views, fog of war, and print, VTT, SVG, PDF and JSON exports.
