Yes. After the countdown you get four panels. Tap the check mark on any panel to drop it, so you can keep anywhere from one to four. Drag panels to reorder them, and shuffle the order or the filters with one tap.

Does it record video, and is it really an MP4?

Yes. Export to MP4 records the looping strip as a real MP4 in Chrome, Edge, and Safari. Firefox cannot encode MP4 in the browser, so it falls back to WebM. The file plays in standard players and editors; some upload services like Google Photos can misread the duration of in-browser MP4s.

Is my camera footage uploaded anywhere?

No. Everything runs in your browser. Your webcam feed is captured, animated, and encoded on your device, and nothing is sent to a server. Files only exist once you choose to download them.

Why is my booth showing cartoon figures instead of me?

That is the placeholder mode. It appears when the browser cannot access a camera — either permission was denied or no webcam is connected. Allow camera access and reload to capture yourself.
