Not in the usual sense. Classic photo mosaic tools rebuild one large target picture out of hundreds of tiny ones. Collage Wall has no target image — your collection is the subject.

Yes, as long as "Fit every image in" is ticked — the grid then holds at least as many cells as you have images, so nothing is dropped. Untick it and the tile shape wins instead, and a warning appears under the wall naming how many got left out.

Each image is read at the largest size the set can afford in memory: a couple of dozen photos are kept at around 1000 px on the long edge, four hundred at around 330 px. Tiles are small on a finished wall, so that holds up at 4K and 8K. Very few images at a very large output size is the one case where a tile can go soft.

Yes. Under ARRANGE, pick a tile tool. Swap two tiles lets you click one photo and then the one it should trade places with, and the swap sticks even when you change the sort, the grid or the output size. Feature one blows a photo up into a big block where you clicked, with an optional caption. Remove a tile takes one off the wall entirely.

No. Show whole images, no cropping letterboxes each photo inside its cell so nothing is cut off. Keep each photo's own shape goes further: it packs rows of photos at their real proportions and stretches each row to the full width, so portraits stay portrait and landscapes stay landscape with no gaps anywhere.

Tick Show file names on tiles and each tile gets its name along the bottom, which is what you want for a contact sheet or a product board. The labels hide themselves automatically when the tiles get too small to read them. The sample set has no file names, so load your own images first.

Use Copy a link to these settings. The link carries every control, your swaps and your featured tile, but not your pictures, because those never leave your machine. Whoever opens it drops in their own images and gets your exact look.
